Q: i need a diagram for a 1994 chevy suburban instrument panel where can i find this?
my dome lights work and all ether lights so where can i get a diagram like answer that chilton book have and the picture

A: Check with your local Library and ask if the have All-Data or Mitchell's online. They have diagrams for all specific years that are better than the ones Chilton's has. Check your fuses yet? Instrument panel usually has it's own. If you have an owners manual, it will usually tell you which fuse it is.

Q: I have 1994 chevy suburban, all the lights work on it except the tail light (running lights).?
when the head lights are on the tail lights aren't on, but I do have brake lights, what seems to be the problem?

A: God I hate electrical !!!!!!!!!!!! LOL 'rotus' is right first check your bulbs and make sure that the element is not burnt out. If that is not it, your going to have to break out the test light and search for the break in power in your harness. Strangely enough I have had a bad head light switch do this as well, but only in a few rare occasions have I had this happen to me. Use your test light and trace back were you have a loss in power down the harness, take your time and be patient. Making sure that every time you reposition the light that you are using a GOOD ground. Good luck Hope this helps.

Q: My 1994 Chevy Suburban has a knock in the engine......?
My 1994 Chevy Suburban has a knock in the engine after it gets warm. It gets louder when I turn on the AC during the summer and it is throwing off my Knock sensor and TPS sensor giving me less power when I press the gas pedal. What could this knock be? I was told it could be my flywheel or my crankshaft??????? I thinks it may be a Rod and spring.......IDK

A: check the timing chain and gears in it when they get worn down they will cause a knocking noise and will also throw the timing off as well as other things and make it run bad, that would be the first thing i would check Chevy,s are notorious for wearing out timing chains and gears in them once they get past 125 thousand miles, good luck.

Q: Heated far back right window for 1994 Chevy Suburban, need a new one, where do I buy one?
Last night, some fag shot through the heated window on the right door on the very back of my 1994 Chevy Suburban 1500 with a BB Gun.. I was wondering where I can buy a new one to replace the one that now looks like a big shiny spiderweb. Please tell me where I can buy a new window for my Suburban Please... I live in the Portales, NM area and if the parts are online it doesn't really matter so... yeah... We dont have a dump or anything around here anymore I don't think, so online orders would be nice =]... Thanks!

A: www.1stchevyparts.com is an Chevy dealor that sells parts online, I dont knoow if they would ship a window, though. Its probably a dealor part. Most glass shops would probably have this, or at least could get one. Windows are best left to the experts.

Q: how much does a 1994 chevy suburban weigh?

A: 2,148 kg (4,735.5 pounds)

Q: what is the knocking noise coming from the ac/heater fan in a 1994 chevy suburban?

A: either something fell into the vent and is resting on the fan itself, or the fan blades are hitting the box it is mounted in.

Q: Does anyone know what website to look for an interior sun visor for my 1994 Chevy Suburban!?!?
I cant find any interior sun visors. Already checked Ebay of course! I keep geeting crap for a vent visor on my search results. Or just nothing for interiors on parts searches. AHHHH! This is driving me mad!! Thanks for some quick feedback. I have tried all the junk yards around my area. I guess I should keep trying. I will look at that website too! I have bought several other parts from the dealership lately - OUCH!!

A: DEALER OR MARVE'S CHEVY ONLY IN SUN VALLY CA.

Q: how can i bypass my egr valve on my 1994 chevy suburban?

A: It could be blocked off with a metal cap but you will have problems with the engine not running properly and it will ping besides causing a rise in nitrous oxide emissions. The pinging could eventually damage the engine. Your check engine light will also stay on. Why would you want to mess up the way your truck runs and risk engine damage?

Q: How to tell fuel pump is broken - 1994 Chevy Suburban?
1994 Chevrolet Suburban 195,000 miles. 2 days ago had new cap, rotor, control module, wires and plugs put in by my mechanic. Before this work the vehicle would only start intermittanly (thought control module was bad). It never stoped running after it started but after starting it up a couple of times it just stopped starting. It turns over fine. Mechanic said he checked fuel pump - with in specs. Usually starts after sitting but since tune up it did the same thing wouldnt start after a couple of times and now wont start. Today, pulled air cleaner off to look at injectors but no fuel coming out when vehicle is turning over. Gave tank a few whacks with hammer to see if I could jar fuel pump but nothing. Is probably fuel pump but could it be - coil? IAC Valve? fuel pump relay (how to check)? oil pump? pick up coil (what is this)? Any advice to taking out fuel tank to change fuel pump? Dont want to pay $500 of labor just to take out tank to replace $75 part. Thanks for any help

A: Like every one else said check to see if the pump works and the filter is not clogged. Turn on the key without cranking the engine. For about 1/2 second the fuel pump will run to pressurize the fuel system and you will here the quiet buzzing noise it makes in the area of the fuel tank. If you can hear the pump running pull the coil wire and crank the engine, if you dont get any spark then the problem is the ignition module. The module sends signal to the injectors and the coil because they have to fire in time with each other! So when one isnt working the other one usually doesnt either!

Q: 1994 chevy suburban has a loud pop coming from the rear end?
the loud pop comes when i make a sharp right to fast or brake to hard but it dose not hapen untill i start to go again srom the hard stop but it happens at the time of the hard right turn but olny when i am going fast and i don't meen brake neck fast just kinda like getting on it to merge if that makes sence

A: I'll bet you have a Eaton posi traction unit inside the housing. If you will drain the oil out, wash it down real good with something like kerosene, and put some correct lube back into the rear end, the problem will go away. Look for a tag on the cover bolts of the rear end, and it will tell you it takes a special oil. If it was leaking and you had it serviced, they could have topped it off with the wrong oil for a posi unit. It takes a special oil to keep them from doing the popping thing. There is probably nothing wrong with the rear end, but it is annoying. This is caused by the clutches sticking, and not allowing it to run free in a corner. One wheel goes faster than the other around a corner, thus when the clutches stick, they will pop when they release, and they aren't releasing because the oil is not slick enough to make the clutches slip in a corner as they should. Even after you put the new lube/oil in the rear end, it may take a while before it frees up and goes to working properly. This is a pretty common problem with GM Suburban since most all of them has this rear end. Glad I could help you. Good Luck!!!

Q: I have a 1994 sububan i just bought and i need the rear licensce plate wiring harness somone stole mine?
yeah i was wondering if any one could give me some sites on to where i could find a 1994 chevy suburban wiring harness for the rear tag somone stole mine. I didnt notice it but a cop did and i got a ticket. So now im looking for the whole wiring where the harness conectes to where the light blub sockets are plz help??????????? i would rather not have smart answers like the first twom posted so plz post some websites to help me out!!!!!!!

A: THAT person saying "What goes around, comes around" is about what comes around to the person who did the first wrong thing. That's a STUPID way to feel. What goes around (the person who stole it), comes around (back to him again--) in other words, someone might still HIS things! To answer you in a straight-up, INTELLIGENT way...BABY! ...go on eBay Motors and do a search at the top right searchbar. (Type in "Suburban rear wiring harness"...and hit 'go'. I just did it & here's one for $1.00 (opening bid) + $18.00 shpping, so it'd cost you $19.00 [if you win the auction] (do you know how to bid?...there's 2 days left, so you don't want to bid until the last 10 or 15 minutes if you're on dial-up, and the last 2 minutes if your on DSL (I do it the last 20 SECONDS,,,but then, I'm somewhat of an expert user. Here's a site (I pulled up in the search) with a harness (it's between a 1974 and 1989 so not sure if it would work---your mechanic could tell you): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/74-thru-89-GM-Suburban-rear-wiring-harness-NOS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ42613QQitemZ8061684167QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW or go on Craig's List.
