Q: I want to trade my 2007 Chevy Trailblazer for a 2007 or 2008 GMC Yukon.?
I know I will have negative equity, just trying to avaoid outregeous payments. Any tricks, advice or ideas.
My family has grown out of the trailblazer.
A: yeah, you are going to loose money. ADVICE: If you want a Yukon, get a Tahoe instead - it looks better, is just as luxurious, and is cheaper (GM prices GMC above Chevy, yet they're the same cars, just rebadged). If you want a Yukon XL, get a Suburban - same applies as Tahoe. You should definitely talk to a chevy dealer about the Tahoe & Suburban before going to GMC. GMC are nice, but more expensive. Ask dealer why you should go for chevy over gmc. happy hunting. :)
you won't go wrong with either.
Q: I need a remote starter for a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer.?
Any recommendations on a good remote starter?
A: call the service department where you bought your truck. i believe that trail blazer is pre equipped with auto start but you need to purchase a remote and modual. if you get factory they will not have to cut any wires and everything stays under warranty. otherwise i have Had about 7 different types and makes and they where all about the same. all i can say is don't get one with auto lock & alarm. they always set themselves and lock you out. if you get an aftermarket autostart the installers have to cut into your starting, security, and ignition system to install it and the dealer can void parts of your warrenty and charge you if you bring it in for warrenty repair and its a problem related to aftermarket products
Q: Does anyone know when the 2008 Chevy Trailblazer will be out?
I am looking at purchasing a new 2007 Trailblazer (would go used but the 100,000 mile warranty is tempting) and I was thinking of holding out until the 2008 model comes out so I can buy a discounted new 2007. Will the dealership drop the price of a new 2007 model when 2008 are being rolled out?
Anyone with a real answer?
A: The next year models always come out in September. So then you can get a discounted 07. :)
Q: Is 11% a bad interest rate used 2007 SUV?......Refinance?
I bought a used 2007 chevy trailblazer with 12k miles. (I'm out of the country alot so I probably won't put more than 6k on it a year) The sale price was 21k and the payments are 400 per month. Credit score is 670. What's the likelyhood of me getting a better rate if I refinanced next summer? hopefully by then I can put 3k towards the vehicle on top of my regular monthly payments.
I've had a charge off in the past two years and a second vehicle i am still paying for as well.
A: I bought my mustang in 2004 , and I basically had no credit, but i got a 6.5% interest rate so yeah 11% is bad. the longer you finance for though the higher the rate. Some finance people just try and rip you off. your credit scores not high but then again its not bad either so in my opinion you could have gotten a better rate with your score.
Q: My car comes equipt with power locks, windows ect. . . the driver's side has lost power. What caused it?
Is it a blown fuse? or what? Power works on other doors still. Just not the driver's side.
It's a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer
A: Chevy switches are notorious for being unreliable........but if the whole driver door has lost power you may have a main wiring harness connector (to the door) that has separated or loosened apart.
Normally only 1 component will go bad, not all at once.
And a fuse usually dose both windows , door lock, ect
Not just one side
Q: Is the 02 Chevy 4.2 Litre I6 Eng W270 HP able to be upgraded to the 291 HP of 2007 4.2 I6?
Engines are in the Trailblazer Trucks.
A: It should be.
But why?
There are plenty of ways to increase the horsepower and torque of the '02 to surpass the '07's totals.
Hypertech programmer
K&N FIPK
Exhaust system
etc..........
Q: owe to much?
so we have 2 vehicles and 2006 chevy trailblazer and a 2007 chevy cobalt so on the trailblazer we owe 22,132 well we wanted to traid it in for something cheaper and better gas mileage so we have gone to numerous place's and they turn us down saying we owe way to much on it. the mileage isnt high either and it's in perfect condition i need to know how to get rid of it oweing that much all they will give us is 16,500? any one have an suggestions on how to trade it off ? weve even went to place's that say theyll pay your trade off no matter how much you owe but they said no too because they claim we owe to much? please help either that or how can we pay it off sooner? the intrest is only 10.9% and the payment's 459.00 a month. ???????
A: That is a lot to owe on the Trailblazer. Unfortunately all you can do is to keep trying to shop it out. Call dealerships and get as many opinions as you can. We traded our 07 tb ss in a few months ago and we had to really shop it out to get a good trade value. We ended up having to go a few states out of the way to do it, but it was worth it.
I don't know how much luck you will have lowering your payment due to the amount that you still owe on your tb.
Best of luck!
Q: 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee? A good SUV?
My 03 Chevy Trailblazer has served me well, but is starting to fail at 90,000 mi. I was looking at a Tahoe, but don't need th size, the gas mileage is low, and I do not think it is worth $45,000. I have no use for "status SUVs". The Grand Cherokee seems like a tried and true SUV, and I am just looking for a basic SUV that gives a good ride and can handle the country roads and dirt roads too.
So, I am looking at a Laredo 4x4. Jeep is offering $4,000 cash back until 10/31, and the local dealer was willing to knock off another $2,000 (sticker is $30,870 on the last 2007 on the lot), and they will give me $7,000 for my Chevy (it needs another $1,000+ in work right away, and more is coming, so I am happy with that trade-in).
I think this is a good deal, but I've never owned a Jeep (my dad owned a Wrangler and a Wagoneer, which I drove), and was wondering if the 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 was a good SUV? Calling all Cherokee masters, please give me your experiences and opinions!!!
A: I am a sales professional at the 2nd largest Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealer in the country. Here is some info:
$2000 off the sticker is a pretty good price. If you had a Chrysler employee discount, you would save about another $1000-1200, so, not bad.
At 22500 miles a year or so, you put alot of abuse on a vehicle, so dont listen to Mr. BMW I LOVE IMPORTS who commented on how great his sisters car is. His sister only puts on 12k per yr according to him(60000 miles on a 02).
You did not mention if your vehicle is a V6 or a V8, but I am guessing from the price its a V6. This vehicle has a full time 4x4 system with no LO gear 4x4. It is not designed to take on very deep snow or mud or sand. You will want the V8 Laredo with the Quadra Drive system if your country roads are deeply rutted and tough to get thru. This has low range 4x4 mode that will get you thru just about anything.
The 07 Grand Cherokee was re-designed with a bit more city driving characteristics in 05. It blends a lot of both city and off road aspects. Quiteter, smoother, etc. I challenge any import to an off road competition to see which one can really handle the obstacles it gets faced with. Most of them are built only for the city and cant handle the 4x4 requirements you may need(without upgrading to off road packages).
I will state that you do need to go to each dealer and check out all the options. I wont try to tell you which is best or worst. Like import owners will...
But again, your price does seem good. And please buy American. Our quality is getting better, and the imports are getting worse. I think I just saw somewhere that Toyotas quality ratings just took a HUGE hit to the negative.
And do the imports have a LIFETIME (Limited) warranty on their engines, transmissions, and driveline systems? I think not! Chrysler will repair or replace your powertrain for as long as you own your Jeep as long as you have it inspected every 5 years and are the original owner. No deductible. Make sure you do the recommended maintenance too.

A: gmc envoy. better look, better factory warranty and nicer looking with a smoother ride
Q: I need help choosing what will be my next ride?
I'm choosing the Dodge Charger R/T, Dodge Durango, Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Trailblazer ss, Chevy pickup which I don't know, Ford F-150, or the all new 2007 ford expedition. Price is not an issue. Which would you choose This is a vote
A: Chevy Tahoe. They're really cool looking.
Q: i want to buy a new Suv but what should i get?
i want to get a new SUV thats $20 - $30,000 form 2004 - 2007 but idk wat to get i dont car if its small or big i was thinking about getin the Mazda CX7 or a Chevy Trailblazer
A: THE CHEVY TRAILBLAZER OR EVEN A GMC ENVOY WOULD BE YOUR BEST BET BY FAR.
Q: Rain Sensing Wipers?
Can you add rain sensing wipers to car if it does not come with it? My 2007 GMC Envoy Denali does not have them and fmy old 2002 Chevy Trailblazer LTZ had them, and I miss them alot.
A: I own a shop, and yes you can. You would either have to purchase it from a dealer, or find one that has it in a junkyard, and get everything you need from a donor vehicle. A dealer would have it as a package that you can have installed by them, but you could save a lot if you could install it yourself.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!
Q: Audi Q7 or Acura MDX or Infiniti FX?
My mom really wants a new SUV, and she wants cargo space.
My mom currently drives a horrid 2002 Chevy Trailblazer that has the 3rd seat, but we'd like to downsize a tad.
We looked at compact SUV's such as the Infiniti EX35 which was way too small for my mom's liking, along with the RDX which we also found to be lacking in cargo space and size. This means we're probably looking at a midsize SUV.
I think the FX is simply beautiful/super sporty, along with the MDX, and I find the Q7 to just be a purely luxurious, smooth, elegant eye-catching vehicle.
I'm wondering if the Q7 is too big for what we're looking for (it looks like it's a boat, lol!), but I still love Audi's (biased, I know!). I figure you only live once, and why not just splurge on a used 2007 Q7. Audi's have a much more luxurious and wealthy standing in my opinion in comparison to Infiniti's/Acura's.
BTW; is the Q7 really as LONG as it looks? Is it much longer than the Infiniti FX/Acura MDX?
Which do you recommend?
A: the Q7 is a tad bigger, but not by much. The drive is smooth, luxurious and very nice, which is why im always partial to VW's and audis.
The Acura is going to be best in reliability, but it lacks in luxury. Its a sporty SUV with good space for five people.
the FX35 is much like the acura, its reliable, and sporty but is a little bit more luxurious. Personally, i think this car is a little overpriced for what you get though.
If your looking for a luxury ride, go for the audi
but if you want a sport ride, go with the acura.
The only way to truly know what you want is to test drive it out.
