A: Usually the o2 sensor is screwed into the exhaust manifold on most vehicles...it will probable be between the engine and firewall on either 4 or 6 cylinder engines, but occasionally they put one in the exhaust pipe just before the catalytic converter. 89 s10 blazer had it there...
The oil pressure switch is usually screwed into the oil filter housing, or into the engine block, near the oil filter.
Q: Can someone tell me the proper wheel order to bleed brakes on 2003 Chevy Venture after repacing MC?
New master cylinder installed and I was told there is a certain order in which I must bleed the brakes....
A: 1. The furthest away from your master cylinder ( passenger side rear)
2. Driver side rear.
3. Passenger side front.
4. Driver side front.
Some vehicles only require bleeding at the master cylinder.

Q: 2003 Chevy Venture Minivan --Heater only heats in Drive?
I have a 2003 Chevy Venture minivan, 67k. Never any problems until last week. Now when I turn on the heater it blows in all the positions (including defrost), but only blows COLD air while the van is in park. This is regardless of how long I let the engine warm up. Once I shift into drive, the warm air starts to blow very quickly. It switches back to cold air when I go back to park. What could be the problem here? Thank you!

Q: 2003 Chevy Venture 02 Censor Light comes on, changed it, now its running to lean?
I took it to a mechanic and he said that it was a defective 02 censor, so I replaced it and the same code is still displayed. And his reader is saying that the 02 censor is telling the computer that it is running to rich so the computer leans it out when its not running rich so the engine will run rough and sometimes stall. This is the 3rd 02 censor so I know that that's not it. Any other ideas.

A: The problem with your car is the O2 is say some thing is wrong not saying O2 is bad. Its sensing a problem. The real problem is the MASS AIR FLOW sensor its located right after your air filter on the intake hose. They get dirty, Then don't read air flow correctly. Thus trowing the O2 off. Now the MAF dos'nt know its screwing up therefor won't kick a code, while the O2 is like WTF is going on and kicks a code. Remove the MAF and clean it with carb cleaner very carefully its fragile reinstall it and clear codes.

A: Pull off tire,brakes,rotor,caliper and remove the axle nut 24-26mm (i think), 4 bolts holding the hub on and remove the speed sensor/abs wire. You will prob have to tap the end of the axle to break it loose to remove the hub. All in all its pretty self explanatory and will take approx 2 hrs.

I have a 2003 Chevy Venture Van that will start but when you put it in drive it wont move. I checked the spark plugs (cause it was raining when it started having the problem) and they seem to be getting fire. Any ideas on what the problem would be or what to check next? Thanks

has anyone else had tranmission problems with a venture van? ie put it in drive and it wont move? minor or major?
it has around 68.000 miles on it, its my brothers van, he was going home from work and the van just stopped, no noise or anything, it wont go in to any gear and the fluid level is full,
A: If the transmission has never had the filter replaced in those 68,000 miles, that'd be a good place to start.

A: You might drop the fuel tank, again and make sure that the fuel pump assembly is position correctly. Alot of times if you don't put the the fuel pump assembly back correctly it wont read the fuel level correctly. Also check the plug that goes into the assembly to make sure its in good condition, they have to be replaced sometimes. You shouldn't have anything to rest. Just make sure the battery is disconnected.
Q: Interior Lights 2003 Chevy Venture Van?
Does anyone know how to program the interior lights on a 2003 Chevy Venture Van? They are not coming on when the door is opened....... No Manuel
A: Ok, Is there a switch on the ceiling in the center, above the rearview mirror area?
Mine has a switch right there, to switch them on and off manually, so maybe someone could have flipped that switch and shut them off without knowing?
I have to keep mine off all the time and turn it on manually when I want to use it, because I have a "ghost" that gets into my vehicle and turns the light on and off throughout the night if I don't!!! (which runs the battery down obviously)
Hope that's it... nothing more frustrating than not having the manual.
